Maine Coon
PROJECT DESCRIPTION
Maine Coon House is a private residential build in Jakarta, where construction precision supports a highly personalized architectural and interior outcome. The project required careful coordination between structural work, detailed finishes, and custom-built elements, ensuring that each design intention was executed with clarity and consistency. From early structural planning to final detailing, the construction process was managed to accommodate layered spatial requirements while maintaining efficiency, durability, and long-term performance.

The construction integrates reinforced concrete structures with carefully detailed secondary systems to support both architectural expression and interior requirements. Wall assemblies, ceiling systems, and built-in elements were developed in parallel to ensure alignment between structure and finish.
Particular attention was given to junctions between materials, where transitions between stone, wood, and painted surfaces required precise execution. Concealed systems for lighting, storage, and services were embedded within the structure, allowing the spaces to remain visually clean while fully functional.
Openings were constructed to maximize natural light and ventilation, requiring accuracy in alignment and proportion to maintain both performance and design intent.

MATERIALITY AND FUNCTION
The project emphasizes clarity in spatial construction, where each area is built to reflect its intended use without excess. Social spaces were executed with a focus on openness and continuity, supported by consistent floor levels, ceiling alignment, and integrated finishes. Private areas required a different level of precision, particularly in achieving acoustic comfort and visual privacy.
Custom elements such as storage systems, partitions, and feature walls were fabricated to fit seamlessly within the structural framework. Curved elements, including feature openings and selected architectural details, demanded specialized workmanship to achieve smooth transitions and consistent finishes across surfaces.

PRIVATE AND SOCIAL ZONE
Material selection was closely tied to durability and maintenance. Natural stone, timber finishes, and fabricated elements were installed with consideration for climate response, ensuring resistance to humidity, wear, and daily use.
Protective treatments, joint detailing, and installation methods were carefully specified to maintain material integrity over time. Service systems, including water management and electrical layouts, were coordinated to remain accessible while preserving the visual quality of the interior.
The result is a construction that supports both the technical demands of the building and the refined character of the design, delivering a residence that performs reliably while maintaining its architectural clarity.
