Evara House
PROJECT DESCRIPTION
Evara House was designed to balance openness and privacy for a socially active family. The building mass is positioned toward the rear of the site, allowing the front and central areas to open toward the garden and swimming pool while shielding the home from surrounding commercial activity.
A solid front facade responds to the T-junction, guiding a calm, ceremonial entry into a resort-like interior. Clear zoning ensures public spaces remain welcoming, while private areas are carefully protected.

Architecture

The design responds to a family that enjoys hosting while valuing moments of retreat. Public areas are oriented toward the garden and pool, creating an outward-facing environment for gatherings, while private zones are positioned more discreetly through massing and spatial hierarchy.
Soft geometries and natural materials shape the architectural language, introducing warmth and tactile depth. The intention is to create a seamless relationship between interior and exterior, allowing the house to feel open, relaxed, and connected to its surroundings while remaining composed and refined.

THE SPACE
The spatial composition unfolds across multiple levels, guided by light, movement, and degrees of privacy. The entrance sequence frames views toward the garden and pool, immediately establishing the social heart of the house. The building mass is positioned toward the rear of the site, allowing central areas to open up for light, airflow, and outdoor activity. Living and dining spaces maintain continuous visual connections to the pool, reinforcing a sense of openness, while private rooms are set further inward to create quieter environments.
Vertical and horizontal circulation is shaped through double-height volumes, layered sightlines, and controlled transitions. Natural light enters through side gardens and a central skylight, bringing depth into the interior. A play nook beneath the staircase is integrated subtly into the layout, while flexible spaces such as the library and gym are designed to adapt over time without disrupting the overall composition.

THE FEEL
Evara House is defined by a calm, resort-like atmosphere shaped through material and form. Curved lines soften the architectural edges, while wood textures and green marble introduce warmth and contrast.
